Noam Weiss Back to the IBRCE as director after a few years of establishing the Tel Aviv Birding Center. Noam was here for 5 years before running the ringing station, education and tourism and now will mainly promote nature conservation, monitoring and research, tourism and education. Noam is an enthusiastic birder since the age of 10. In the last year he was researching the Hume's Owls, Wheatears in the desert and some was involved in Agro-ecology research. Noam also conducted joint projects with Jordanian and Palestinian partners.
Leaby Yafremov - Is our tourism coordinator and Secretary. Leaby joined the park team in January 2015 and since she is making sure everything works around the shop and office.
Chen Rozen - Is our cheaf guide. Chen started his birding career at the age of 12 and grew up in the Gaash birding club. Chen is now working on his ringing and research skills and is a great company for a talk about the birds of Eilat.
Our team in the past:
Yael Lehnardt, was twice the head ringer and guide at the IBRCE ringing station (holding A Israeli license). Yael has been a long time volunteer at the IBRCE and did a voluntary year at the park before the army and since then has been returning throughout to help and support. After her Army service she came back in Eilat to lead the work at the ringing station, for one year, and left again... this time to study Biology at Jerusalem.
Itai Shanni after being the

coordinator was the manager of the IBRCE during one year in 2012-2013.
Itai was bird ringer (holding Israeli A license) and guide at the IBRCE during
2012-2013. He had opened his own company and we wish him luck!

Liri koplevitch was working for the IBRCE during 2014 as a guide and at the public information center & shop. Liri is not only a birder but also a snake expert, a nature lover, a talented guide and a funny man.

enjoyable year of ringing and birding in the IBRCE before he joined the army
for national service. We hope to see him back here in Eilat
as soon as he will finish his service and wish him good luck!
Re'a Shaish came for one year of voluntary social service before army. After many years of volunteering Re'a was our bird ringer (holding Israeli B license) and guide at the IBRCE during 2010-2011. He has finished an enjoyable year of ringing and birding in the IBRCE before he joined the army for national service. We hope to see him back here in Eilat as soon as he will finish his service and wish him good luck!
Reuven Yosef was manager of the IBRCE from 1993 to 2009. Reuven was one of the
founders of the IBRCE and run the place for many years, developed it from a
garbage tip to impressive research, education and nature conservation center.
We wish him luck in further projects and in his new job as a biology primary-school
teacher!
Eran Makover came for one year of voluntary social service before army. Eran
was our bird ringer (holding Israeli C license) and guide at the IBRCE during
2008-2009. He has finished an enjoyable year of ringing and birding in the
IBRCE before he joined the army for national service. We wish him good
luck!
Yochai Wasserlauf came for one year of voluntary social service before army. Eran
